This Today, members of the Baha'i Faith are preparing for the Ridwan Festival, which beings on April 21 and runs for 12 days. It commemorates the days when the prophet-founder of the Baha'i Faith resided in a garden called Ridwan (Paradise) in Baghdad, at which time he publicly proclaimed His mission as God's messenger for this age. The first, ninth and twelfth days are celebrated as holy days and are three of the nine days of the year when the Baha'i suspend work. You can get more information on the Baha'i by writing the Baha'i Office of Public Information, 866 UN Plaza, Suite 120, New York, NY 10017. Or, check them out on the Internet <email@example.com>
Your Birthday Today:
A leader. If you were born on April 20, you are a leader, driven toward success and power. And if you can bring your family, business or social group along for the ride, achievement is that much sweeter. Ruled by the number 2 and the moon, you have a low tolerance for irritation that may hinder success.
A bit touchy? You are extremely sensitive and don't like people messing in your private affairs. Moody and high-strung, you turn some people off and captivate others. You have a highly developed fantasy life, which can pay off if you put it to good use. Since you tend to stir up those around you, you must remain in control of your emotions.
Conflict magnet. No matter what you do for a living, it is the challenges of the world that turns your gears. While most people avoid problems and conflicts, you look for them, as if driven by the excitement of it all. While this may not make for a happy, relaxed life, it works for you. Your intensity may wear others and even yourself down at some point.
Dreams and reality. You are very intuitive and like to shoot from the hip. Yet you are also physical and grounded, craving food, affection and a stable family life. These down-to-earth qualities may balance your imaginative side, but the scales occasionally tip drastically from reality to fantasy.
Some advice: Try to be more patient and accepting. Don't fly off the handle. Objectively assess your capabilities. Make your goals smaller and more reasonable.
